SinoPec, one of the largest national oil companies in China, awards Haimo Instruments (Shengli Oilfield) a 7 off MPFM order for its allocation metering project in the Shengli oilfield. These meters are installed in a single station and in total more than 300 wells are monitored using the new contingent. This is also a repeat order of the Haimo multiphase meters from SinoPec after they successfully field proved several Haimo un its over the past years. The total number of multiphase meters in SinoPec is now 13.

Haimo ships out 2 Truck mounted mobile well testing un its for an oil producer in Kazakhstan. The construction of the skid is optimised to fit into the back of a 3.5 Ton truck with adequate space made available for carrying accessories such as hoses, Weco Unions and a maintenance kit. The skids are 2 in 1 configuration build to extend the measurement turndown on liquid and gas. The Oil Company has chosen to deploy Haimo multiphase skids for mobile services after a successful experience with fixed installations supplied by Haimo in the past.

Haimo completed a Score of 750 well tests as on 31st August 2003 in PDO Oman. The contract was awarded in mid 2002, with two subsequent extensions due to increased demand for data. On completion of the contract, Haimo still continues to receive Call-outs to carry our well testing. The Quality data generated is understood to have assisted. Reservoir engineers, Production Technologies and Planning engineers in Reservoir Management and Production optimisation.

Haimo received an order from Petroleum Development Oman for 16 nos. multiphase meters, the largest ever single order placed by PDO for multiphase meters. The Scope of supply includes meters from 2" to 16", from 300# to 900#, with materials ranging from Carbon Steel to Hastelloy. Many of the meters orders are designed to work upto 99% GVF conditions; the bulk order is a testimony to the Customer's confidence on Haimo meter's capability to measure a wide turn down in gross flow rates, highly accurate and consistent watercut measurement and a wide turn down in the gas flow rates.

Haimo Technologies Inc. - Lanzhou, China incorporated the Middle East and North African Branch in Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The local establishment Haimo International FZE is equipped with a Team of After Sales support and Engineering professionals to liaise with Customers to provide the benefits of Haimo's multiphase metering technology to the end user Oil companies in the region. The establishment also has in stock a select range of Haimo multiphase metering skids that could be rented out for medium and long terms well testing services.

As on the 1st of July 2003, Haimo engineers completed nearly 120 man months of mobile well testing in PDO under the Mobile well testing contract. The Contract was executed with top attention given to HSE matters in compliance with the HSE guidelines of PDO - Oman. In commemoration of the achievement, PDO awarded the "No LTI" award to Haimo on the 1st of July 2003.
