Watercut meters

Watercut meter is an integral component of the Haimo multiphase meter. The meters works on low energy gamma photo absorption principle.

Based on measurement requirements and the presence of various phases, Customer has a choice of Single gamma meters or Dual gamma meters.

Single gamma meters measure two phases, for ex. Oil and water in the absence of gas OR liquid and Gas.

Dual gamma meters measure the watercut in the presence of  gas OR can be used to compensate for salinity in produced water in the absence of gas.

Typical accuracy of measurement of water cut is +/- 1% abs. for the full range of watercut in the absence of gas.

Haimo also offer options of net oil flow meter which work independent of density, using a combination of Venturi and Single / Dual gamma meters.
